Caldwell University, 120 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ. A New Jersey's 11th congressional district special election will be held on April 16, 2026, to fill the vacant seat held by Mikie Sherrill. The Primary for this Special Election will take place on February 5. 13 candidates have filed to fill this seat. Our League and partners are hosting a Meet & Greet for the candidates running in the Primary. All candidates are participating. Register.

Voter Girl

Passaic County College, 1 College Blvd, Paterson, NJ. Voter Girl is a collaboration between the Girl Scouts and the League of Women Voters. Girl Scouts of all levels participate in a workshop focusing on civic engagement, advocacy, the voting process and becoming leaders. Our League and the Paterson League are partnering with the Girl Scouts of Northern NJ. 30-40 League volunteers help run a mock election and teach democracy badge workshops. Volunteer here.
