Running for Office Activist Training Webinar

​LWVNJ offers activist trainings open to the public. Interested in running for office but not sure where to get started? Local elected officials have a major impact on their communities, and you can make a difference. Join a nonpartisan discussion on running for office, and also discuss ways to influence campaigns and public policy. Register.

Parsippany- Troy Hills Republican Primary Mayoral Debate

May 15, 2025 at 7pm

Virtual. Our League, the Daily Record, and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Morristown Alumnae Chapter are hosting a nonpartisan candidates debate with 2 candidates seeking the Republican nomination for Mayor of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. Justin Musella and James Barberio. The forum will be livestreamed and posted for viewing afterwards on our League's YouTube channel. Submit questions for the candidates by May 13 at 4pm here

Voter Registration Deadline for Primary Election

May 20, 2025

In NJ, residents must register at least 21 days prior to election day. Register online, by mail, or in person at the County Clerk's office. Register. 

In-Person Early Voting

Jun 3-June 8, 2025

Vote in person on a machine at designated polling sites on Tuesday through Saturday from 10am - 8pm, and Sunday 2 from 10am - 6pm. For information about Early In-person Voting, visit Morris County Elections/Early Voting. 

LWVNJ State Convention

Jun 6 & 7, 2025 from 8am to 4pm

APA Hotel Woodbridge, 120 Wood Ave S., Iselin, NJ. All League members are encouraged to attend for program planning, workshops, dynamic speakers, networking and getting to know your League. Details and registration.

NJ Primary Election Day
