OUR ISSUES
The freedom to vote is a nonpartisan issue. From defending voting rights to protecting the environment, voters care about many issues. The League promotes social and economic justice as well as the health and safety of all Americans to defend democracy.
Education
The League of Women Voters of the Morris Area believes New Jersey should be a leader in providing the best education system possible for all of our children. This includes supporting a strong public education system.
Immigration
Diverse voices enhance our democracy. The League of Women Voters believes immigration policies should promote reunification of immediate families, meet economic and employment needs, and be responsive to those facing political persecution or humanitarian crises.
We support fair and humane policies that end the crisis at our border, stop the separation of families, and provide a path to citizenship.
